Drench is an emerging Australian three-piece grunge and alternative rock band performing original music, based in Newcastle, NSW .

Their sound draws on influences like Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Melvins, Kyuss, Silverchair, and Helmet, whilst also utilising melodic aspects of artists outside the genre such as Elliott Smith and The Cure, to create a refreshing and unique, yet familiar sound.

Drench is a band that doesn’t stand still, putting a huge emphasis on loud, high-energy live shows with heavy riffs and melodic vocal lines.
